Nature is the starting-point and foundation of my life and art. My life-long fascination with the secret life of plants resulted in a body of work with an almost exclusively botanical content. I use impressions of leaves in "vernis mou" as the basis of my etching technique and make prints on handdipped paper in striking and vivid colours.
